The Church of God Fellowship is a member-sponsored organization. It recognizes that the Church of God is a spiritual organism, not a physical corporation. Therefore, the Church of God remains the same even though various members have been forced by circumstances to form new corporate bodies in order to satisfy the demands of governments in the different nations where the spirit-led members of God's Church reside, and to simplify serving the needs of those members.

Since the Church of God Fellowship recognizes that God's people may or may not be affiliated with various corporate bodies, yet be part of God's Church, it welcomes any member who would like to find fellowship with other members of the body of Christ, who is in agreement with the doctrines, practices and goals of the Church of God Fellowship.

The primary mission of the Church of God Fellowship is to help the Bride of Jesus Christ prepare herself for marriage to Him by fulfilling the purpose of Christ's ministry as stated in EPH 4:11-14.
